Still no justice for Janessa Hartley either. Shot by a car jacker in Sherwood Forest. Probably visiting from one of the many section 8 apartment complexes in the area.

Again, what do all you baws think the police should do that they haven't? It was a time of the day with no witnesses (that we know of). There's no evidence of who did it. The only thing the police can do is wait and hope someone comes forward with any info.

And no, the police cannot go bash heads to make the usual suspects talk...they shut down the Brave Cave and we all cheered.

+ there is a solid chance the murderer is already dead and won't his on any DNA/fingerprint databases moving forward

I keep asking similar questions like you in these threads. The story is sad but there is only so much the police can (legally) do. If there is little evidence, that creates the proverbial dead end.

If Allie Rice had been an armed, previously convicted felon resisting arrest while committing another felony then local, state and federal folks would be working non-stop on the case.

Hard to believe they'll never catch the murderer.

I hope you're being sarcastic.

There will be zero effort to find her killer.

Why? She's the wrong race and they KNOW the one that did it.

If by "good" you mean "zero", then you are correct.

but every time I pass by that area on Government I have a hard time believing its was a random act. There really isn't much there.

Absolute bullshite from the one and only OweO... Government is hipster central, and there are a ton of places to go at night... it's BRs version of gentrification... not to mention it borders the garden district

Has anyone gone to that area at night to see what kind of activity goes on there?

Yea, bars and live music almost every single night

I think there is a great chance of you talking out of your helper monkey's wiped arse about what goes on there... Government Street is a literal dividing line between BR hood and BR good... your ignorance is so fully on display about this issue, it's embarrassing to even respond to such nonsense

Literally on one side, is a beautiful place to live... on the other side is a crime ridden hell hole... and it spills over time and time again... it's BR's version on "the tracks"

Some stupid thug piece of shite saw an opportunity and took it... leaving behind a wake of pain, frustration and questions... just 2 weeks ago, I was at a red light on Government and Acadian and some dude comes up to my truck and starts banging on my window and yelling... I fricking floored it and got the hell out of there... im not playing when im in that area, and I grew up on Prescott in the 90s

Not where this young lady was murdered.
This area with the exception of a few viable businesses is a hell hole.

When I say area I mean around the railroad tracks.

And hipsters? Is this 2012? Call it what you want, but it draws a line. As in, everything north of government you want to avoid. Its better than everything south of government is "not as bad".

Sherwood Forest.

This area has gotten pretty bad. It has been almost 20 years since I worked in that area and it wasn't that bad then. What caused it to decline? A lot of older people lived there and people living in other areas along with a smaller population than was there when it was built so the houses were selling cheaper allowed the wrong element to move in?

125 murders every day. 121,000 in the past 975 days. I'm sure allie deserves special rememberance because you simps think she was cute.

Or we have kids that age and would like to see justice. I actually have a kid that went to school with her. She was a good person by all accounts not some George Floyd type who gets memorials everywhere.
