Not a discussion on gun control.

We know. Everyone knows.

It's not just you conservative knuckleheads either, it's also the left. Just like you are looking for some kind of mental health reason (while refusing to ever fund anything for mental health), they are looking for racial undertones.

Nobody is talking about common-sense solutions. We know that, you don't have to point it out.

No shite

The left always says "well its both sides"

Its not at all.
Crime and homelessness = big democratic run cities
Church folk = sleepy maga flyer country.

Media is completely left wing propoganda like you said. Real world tells the true story.

What is the common sense solution that would have prevented this incident?

Sure there are right leaning publications. But they don't have near the broadcast that the left MSM outlets do.

CBS, NBC, ABC, CNN, MSNBC VS what, sorta Fox news?

Well, your problem is only focusing on the major broadcasting and cable outlets. Take a look at the top podcasts any given week and Ben Shapiro and Dan Bongino both show up. Take a look at sites that aggregate daily likes and shares on Facebook and they are overwhelmingly conservative pages usually posting articles and columns from conservative writers. AM radio is dominated by conservative shows.

But the broader point is for conservatives that don't want to consume sources they deem liberal, there are a multitude of outlets they can turn to these days that weren't there 30+ years ago. Maybe the number of outlets of each is still out of balance, and I don't really care to argue that point.

No mental institutions anymore. Too many people not fit for society are out there.

They're called for profit prisons now.

Less methodical serial killers, more all at once mass shootings.

But why? Guns were even easier to obtain back then.

nothing to do with guns, more to do with technology in law enforcement

its just so much more difficult for a serial killer to stay active without getting caught these days

My question is why are people going nuts?
You all wanted to lock people inside of their homes for a year and everyone is now confused as to why people are going nutty more frequently?

What’s weird is that ever since Biden has been in office it seems like there’s been more of these incidents.

Have there really been more? Or is it something political? Such as the media widely reporting more of these stories now that a Democrat is in office in hopes that they’ll enact gun control measures.

It is a combination of the media talking about them more and the fact that the citizens of this country thought it was a good idea to lock people in their homes for an entire year.

Also, with Covid dying down, this is the new topic du jour.

There have been more compared to 2020.

Seems we're on about the same trajectory as we were in years prior to 2020.

It's not people, but it IS individuals.

We aren't reading why even though there is information out there.

Remember the student who shot up Virginia Tech? Reporters went back to the town he was from in Korea and neighbors remembered him as really different and asocial.

All are NOT created equal, primitive tribes that survived may have had more innate wisdom than we have today.

But can you actually do this and lead a normal life? What if you own a business that gets burned down in a riot? Or you’re the victim of a mass shooting or get beaten in a riot?
Maybe you’ve got a much better chance to live this way in the rural areas but it could get crazy enough to reach even those people eventually.

I live in Houston. I absolutely can do this and lead a normal life. The media is telling us the sky is falling. It's a lie. I rarely watch news other than news "lite" like a little GMA in the morning while getting ready for work. I see a bit of stuff on FB and on here. I don't read much of it in depth. I go to work every day, live my life. There's a lot less of the bad stuff happening than people think and it's mostly isolated.

Is it worse than it used to be or is it now you hear about any story anywhere on the planet seconds after it happened?

This probably isn't what he had in mind, and nothing is ever guaranteed, but...gun free zones have become targets. They need to be eliminated so that a random shooter always has to be concerned with being taken down by anyone, and thus is deterred.
