The tomato fest is the GOAT as far as parish festivals. I miss those days of having a fest every other weekend or so.

I was there. Some dumb arse hood rat kids started some fights. People said they saw guns and heard shots and people freaked out and ran. One of my kids and her friends got pushed through a knocked down gate and she called me freaking out. I was on the band side.

It’s a shame. $30’ride bands and $5 admission used to be enough to keep the hood out.

But there were no shots. But as it was ending about a mile away two teenagers were shot.

One of those pushed down gates ended up on the passenger side of my freaking Tahoe.

And berg, The OLPS Tomato Festival will always be tGoat. Pulling Irm Thomas, Vince Vance and the Valliants, Cowboy Mouth, etc., where some good times.

Tomato Fest only has a few rides so it doesn’t pull in as many teens from the city.

Having the two events on consecutive weekends this year really pulled into focus how different the crowds were.

This video is making the rounds from Saturday night. I was in line for the ferris wheel with my 3yr old in the top right.

Also, that's a loooooooooooooot of black people in Da' Parish.

I don’t care what color those people are. Chalmette is full of nothing but trash.

Complete trash.
