Yes, I saw this on Instagram.

This is my Roman Empire. I think about this frequently. It isn't no conspiracy theory

They should have rammed the iceberg!

One of the dumbest conspiracies ever.

Teddy Roosevelt's best friend and personal diplomatic envoy, Archie Butts, was on Titanic. There's an alt.history novel where a time traveler goes back to try to save him, with the aim of preventing WWI.

I generally choose to believe the real story of speeding through an iceberg field at night.

Had to usher in the Federal Reserve

Also, the iceberg was supposedly hit at one of the deepest parts of the ocean,
The North Atlantic is very deep. It’s over 1000 feet deep 50 miles out from Long Island. It wouldn’t have mattered in 1912 as there wasn’t any recovery that would have occurred for decades.
The titanic depth is 12,300 ft down.

the ship was intentionally sunk by an explosion in order to ensure the creation of the Federal Reserve (and possibly also an insurance scam).
Nothing surprises me anymore

There's is a collective of stupid that reside here.

None of that is the main reason why the Titanic/Olympic were gotten rid of.
Posted on 1/8/26 at 9:31 pm to theunknownknight
The federal reserve was created so that the government could take us off the gold standard and print money to fund world war 1.
The titanic stuff is a coincidence. I’ve never heard of this theory.

Either way, we still get the commentate the vast amounts of Hellmans that was lost on the ship when it sank. Sinko de Mayo is one of my favorite holidays.

The moon landing was faked.
The Titanic underwater expeditions were faked.

The Titanic went down in April 1912. The Federal Reserve Act passes December 1913, during the holidays when a lot of Congress was away. There’s a long-running rumor that Titanic got swapped with its damaged sister ship, Olympic. Supposedly, they sank the damaged one, collected insurance, and solved multiple “problems” at once.
You know how ridiculous this sounds? The upvotes help explain a lot of the threads on the OT. Why do people entertain these off the wall theories?

There is a reason early AI chat bots became so “based”. Microsoft even had to pull the plug on their bot because it became virulently racist.
It’s because if you read shite like this enough it kinda makes sense so you just kinda run with it.
