Vegans are the type of people that prefer a hammer and sickle over a hamburger.

No you're not.

You're asking this on a predominantly conservative message board full of meat eaters.

If you were curious you would google it.

You want people to say yes and then have a mob behind you.

And he’d respond instantly calling them a fig and dismissing whatever it is they said.

I would say he’s just being disingenuous but I think he’s truly just that stupid

I would guess it’s that it shows how bad your judgement is.

Because I want JD5 to play another season before saying he’s the 4th best qb in the league

Wife is vegan. You would be surprised how far meat and dairy substitutes have come. Beyond Meat sucks though. Not surprised they are in bankruptcy.

More and more restaurants have at least one vegan option. Lots of Asian and Indian food is vegan as well. Bunny Bread is vegan. Lots of things people eat are already vegan.

Her mother died of colon cancer so that kinda spurred it on.

Now given all that, I’m not a vegan or vegetarian. Omnivore all the way for me.

And we are both very conservative.

I'm pescetarian
Why? Long story.....I ran semi professional after college out in southern Cali. The other guys in my training group kicked my arse and most of them didn't eat red meat. So I gave that up and was eating a lot of chicken and turkey then saw a report on 60 Minutes about the disgusting way they processed chicken and turkey so gave that up. Been pescatarian for 34 years now

It you want to get a true vegan upset, tell them you’re a (pick a day of the week) vegan because you are committed to abstain from eating meat or meat products on that day.

Not me for sure. But I can respect those who are. I think more people would be- if they had to catch, kill, and clean their food before they cooked it themselves. To each their own- but I’m a steak and taters kinda guy. With a Caesar salad, of course.

How is they way that seafood is raised and processed any less disgusting than poultry? Unless you are 100% certain that the seafood was wild caught and fresh, it's pretty much the same. Especially if any of that seafood was raised in Asia.

Yea I know but I couldn't give up seafood. And I do mostly eat wild caught and try to avoid Asian seafood and tilapia. Generally I eat seafood maybe once a week but I am grilling a bunch of wild caught salmon tomorrow which I'll eat a piece of tomorrow and then will make tacos, salmon burgers, salmon pasta , etc the rest of the week so get 3 or 4 meals out of it .

We killed a cow once that we had fed, and it felt bad. I didn't name the cow, but I was responsible for it, and I'll tell you I had a hard time eating the cow. I also had to put a calf down when the mother wasn't making milk and it wouldn't take to a bottle and it was about to die.

It's rough stuff. After actually dealing with animals in that way, I don't fault anyone for philosophically being vegetarian.
Try being on a tractor that's working a fallow field into vegetarian food and watching the cow birds stab to death and swallow whole every insect, butterfly, mammal, bird and reptile that's run out of its habitat.

That's assuming they survive the blade and plow. That's why you see buzzards circling freshly prepared/mowed fields - for the thousands of dead critters that the tractor chews up. Nothing like blowing a week old whitetail fawn out the back of a batwing for a monocrop field full of "humanely" grown kale.
