Winn Dixie brand (SE Grocers) potato chips, especially the ridged (generic Ruffles). I've opened bags of both those and Ruffles, and you can't taste any difference. And it's usually 4 bags for $5, or half the price of Ruffles.

I keep my pantry full of them.

Three teenagers who absolutely mow through everything, so I use GV for just about everything for which they have an equivalent to the name brand. Only things I have found lacking quality are their soups and their sodas. Their soups have a weird taste to me. I'll drink their Dr. Thunder brand, but if I'm wasting calories, I want the real thing.

Still a little salty about GV mac and cheese price increase from $0.43 to $0.50 a couple of weeks ago. But, I can't tell the difference between GV and Kraft, and they are still half price.

While I'm bitching about prices: As recently as 2021, I could buy a 100 pack of plastic straws for $1. Last time I was in Wally World, same 100 straws are now $1.68. Gotta check my math, but I think that's an increase of 68%.

HEB was late to copy this product line and is complete shite compared to Bubly or Topo.

In most instances they’re made in the same manufacturing plant

This can be confirmed in recalls too.

Recently, there was a recall on a South Louisiana Hurricane staple cans of Vienna Sausage from Amour Star. It included several store brands including Great Value (Walmart) and Kroger.

It's a meat lovers frozen pizza.
Do you think anyone really expects it to be healthy farm fresh goat cheese mozzarella with organic basil and hand crushed tomatoes?

If there ever was a store brand that had the best ice cream this store could not be beat until they sold out:

They also had fine wines and spirits under the K&B name.

Great value organic peanut butter

We buy this. The ingredients are organic peanuts and salt. You pay 3 times as much for other boutique brands for that kind of simplicity.

Albertson’s chunky chocolate ice cream is awesome. Thank god they don’t exist in central Texas . I’d be obese.
