Oh shite, now we have the beach fishermen entering the fray.

I really enjoy the dumbasses who think fishing, especially shark fishing from the beach, attracts fish and sharks to the beach LOL. Were that it was how fishing works....unfortunately to catch a fish you gotta fish where fish are before you get there (you ain't chumming 'em up to the beach, they are already there).

I don’t like beach fishermen that fish during the day when people are all over in the water. I don’t want a hook in my foot you a-hole. Or a fish take off and wrap your line around my leg.

Fish early early in the morning or at dusk when no ones in the water.

Another reason I will be spending the next 10 summers renting lake houses instead of beach Condo's

Just before sunrise to just after for me. Usually flat lining a croaker or pinfish but if I didn’t make bait or got up to late to do so I’ll walk the beach and throw a top water bait or a spon. Have you ever been on a beach in the summer after about 7 am? It’s too hot to fish for me. The only people on the beach when I fish Florida beaches during peak vacation season are joggers, the county trash collectors and other fisherman. The beach chair concession kids ain’t even showed up yet before I’m gone. I thought eertbody knew it was hot in Florida in the summer….

Hell no. But I bet you’re the retard on a Florida beach at 130 PM ain’t you? There’s this relatively new thing called air conditioning you see, and I fully understand that many people vacation on the gulf coast of Florida in the summer because they ain’t got the financial resources to go somewhere nice, ain’t aware of air conditioning but it really is special. If I’m on a gulf beach at 130 pm in July I’ve either died of a heart attack at 730 am that morning or I am in the middle of some sort of mental collapse where I’ve lost my fricking mind because there’s air conditioning and nobody but a idiot or a podunk moron who has never experienced the glory of AC would be on a beach in July at 130 PM.

We aren’t all fat idiots. It probably blows your mind that I voluntarily sit in 190 degrees for 30 minutes multiple times per week huh

Sitting in the shade on the beach at any time isn’t too bad.

So you try to avoid nice places and stick to low-rent condos and public beaches?

There are hidden gems of beaches from Orange Beach to Destin. Sure I gotta huck 100lbs of gear but once unpacked I’m good for 12hrs of swimming, reading, and napping…

I love to beach fish, it should be outlawed on public beaches from 8am till 5pm.

I enjoy our dry sauna but only to about 160 degrees for 30-40 minutes maybe once a week. I don’t have time to use it more than that. The point of a sauna is the heat and the humidity when you add some water to the rocks. The heat and humidity on a Florida beach at 130 pm is ancillary to the point. 75-80 degrees and 35% humidity on the beach would remove the superfluous heat and humidity so the point of sitting on the beach, which is sitting on the beach, would be achieved. That doesn’t happen during the summer.

As far as fat idiots go I never meant to imply that folks on Florida beaches in the summer were fat. I will say, however, if one is fat one would find plenty of similarly situated folks. You’d be hard pressed to sling a dead cat on the beach this time of year and not hit a chunky fricker. Nothing wrong with that.

Reading about the tent people stirs up all kinds of rage after last year’s trip to PCB. Those tent bastards can go have all the beachfront behind La Vela.

They are a gross bunch

Definitely we need more rules. I love what this board has become.

Of course we do, when common sense and decency are not prevalent. Now, we can suspend all laws and rules and have folks go man on man, but that is frowned upon.

I’m all for a purge. But we’ve been here since Sunday and I have yet to see people fishing in the middle of the day, hooking people in the foot of wrapping lines around peoples legs. This is anecdotal of course bc I have only been to the beach where we are staying but I’m fairly certain what I have seen is the norm
