Additionally, I don't know how the rewards are for the other products, but you get the equivalent of ~0.40 back on each can of Zyn if you crunch the numbers for points earned against the gift card offerings. I've received a metal Zyn can, a Lodge skillet, and a set of Global knives (which are fantastic) so far.
RIP Winston rewards. They had a great catalogue back in the day

Do you still spit? Have dipped a can a day for about 30 years. My wife don’t care about me dipping because I was doing that when we met. Been sober for almost four years but have held on to Copenhagen/Gizzly.
Can’t fathom hunting/fishing without it.

Lots of good news stories, congrats. But throat cancer is one of the worst cancers out there & that is saying a lot.
My wife (no pics) is a head and neck surgeon and has only had one person with throat cancer from dipping over the last 5 years. Smoking on the other hand….

I’m not a weak, brainless fool so I don’t have any tobacco or alcohol addictions.

Same. Approximately 3 decades of dipping. Stopped slowly over a couple of weeks. Stopped for good when, after doing the Zyn swallow thing for a few weeks, I climbed up a pole with a dip in my lip. Instinctively swallowed a full mouth of tobacco juice. Turned green. Felt sick to my stomach. And haven’t had a dip in over a month.

45 years stated at 15, little fun loss but teeth are in perfect shape. I’m pretty religious about flossing after every meal and brushing twice a day.
Figure if I get ten more years out of my body I’m good.

They also related majority of those cancers previously believed to be from dippingto HPV. Not saying that you cannot get it from tobacco, but majority of oral, throat, tongue, cancers, as well as cervical, rectal, etc. cancers are from HPV.

Sadly, the oral cancers caused by HPV are more treatable (that’s what I was told). Mine was not HPV related.

I dip Cougar Long Cut wintergreen and have to spit. When I’m in a meeting at work or at a customer I dip the Cougar Pouches because you can’t even tell I have one in. Funny thing is with the pouches I don’t have to spit at all.
Same with me and Copenhagen pouches. I have a spit bottle in my truck but rarely use it besides spitting out an old pouch.

2 for $3 is amazing.
I’m an idiot, meant 2 for 2.99 each, so $6. My bad. Still a hell of a lot better than $5-6 a can.

I quit about 3 months ago. Haven’t looked back. Was either chewing or dipping since 1998.

I just had my 4 thousandth day of no dipping. Quit cold turkey on day one.
The zyn/nicotine patches are certainly a massive improvement in terms of cancer/oral health. So I'm happy for folks that can make the switch. Congrats: you're less likely to develop cancer and die.
But nicotine is one of the most addictive substances on earth. The downsides aren't horrendous and there are (supposedly) benefits...but it's still an addiction. No different than the folks who end up chewing Nicorette or wearing patches for decades.

Quil Trip by my house has had a 5 cans for $10 of Seesh brand pouches. The cappuccino flavor is delicious and that price is unbeatable.

I quit about 3 years ago after dipping for 35.
My reason was just the cost of product and cost of health insurance as a tobacco user.
I just used the losanges for a week.
I'd tried several other times but never really wanted to quit.
Glad I quit because if I still dipped, cost of product and extra insurance would be costing me $4000 per year.

Smokeless tobacco has a shitload of instantly absorbed nicotine vs cigarettes. Like 40mg per dip vs 5mg for a Marlboro red
