Even with my bias, the American Flag is freaking awesome. I like the simplicity of the Alabama flag as well.

Honestly all the primary participants of WWII had pretty great flag designs:
the Union Jack, the Stars and Stripes, the hammer and sickle, the Japanese rising sun flag and the Nazi flag are all unique, simple and easily recognizable designs.
