We drove from DFW to Covington over Thanksgiving, due to the time we left I went through Mississippi.

Got stuck backed up to about the 415 the other Saturday because of a wreck at the Perkins exit. And it was only like 3:30.
Luckily I bought a house near where I work so I don’t have to experience it too much. How the rest of you masochists drive everyday to and from LP/AP, or anywhere downtown around that fricking bridge, I have no idea.

People's inability to drive in basically a straight line is astounding to me.
People who cause accidents like this should be drug out of the car and shot on site. Car pushed to the side and traffic resumes.

That is a bit extreme. I would build a gantry crane with a big claw on the new bridge. Drop vehicle in River while live streaming it with closeups of the owner watching.

I came through about 4pm headed from Mississippi to Texas…. Fender bender in the middle lane at the base of the bridge. Refused to move until cops came and took us almost 2hrs to split traffic around them.
