I agree. I have a daughter who graduated from SJA in 2020, a son from CHS in 2021, and a 14 yr old who is currently at SJA.
CHS is a lot more conservative than SJA because it is a Brothers of the Sacred Heart School. There are only 10 in the US. CHS isn’t run by the lefty Jesuits. Father Andre Coindre was the founder of the Brothers of the Sacred Heart. He was born in France in the late 1700s and devoted his life to restoring the Church after the French Revolution. His mission was to restore the the moral, intellectual, and religious development of students following the disintegration of family life (a consequence of the loss of life during the Revolution).
I think CHS has done a good job not going stupid on us. SJA…. they are drinking a lot of CNN koolaid and losing a lot of girls to parkview Baptist because of it. But they aren’t really hurting. The new student center and parking lot are all complete….

Those small Christian schools might be just as bad as a school that is too woke. They both are both spending more time trying to fill the kids head with a bunch of bullshite instead of focusing more on subjects that matter.. Math, science..

I dunno, but in the good ol days, you evacuated a school with a bomb threat, not lock it down.
Times have changed. Mass shooters have learned that they could call in a fake bomb threat and then as all the kids came running out of the school they could pick them off one-by-one from a distance as a sniper. It's safer to just keep the students inside, especially since pretty much every school bombing threat ever in history has been fake.

I assume they get a burner phone to call? Or find a pay phone (is there anywhere that still has pay phones?)

We actually used to love when they happened back in the day (later than the 70s). Hit the playground for a couple hours, settle some scores, come in just in time for lunch, and break wasn't long after that. Then, we'd come home and tell our parents about it and they'd just shrug. Old school bomb threats were the best.

What? This is dumb to discuss in a thread about a lockdown, but this might be the dumbest thing I ever read on this board.
You're right, this doesn't belong in this thread but I guarantee you these idiots are referring to CHS accepting a higher percentage of non-white kids into the school than they have in the past. It all comes down to these posters having the mindset that non-white kids don't belong at catholic high and they belong in the public school system. How dare the school introduce an environment that is more like the real world and give some students a chance to get a better education.

They are saying it was a robo call system

Basically functions like routing your internet through a bunch of convoluted VPNs to obfuscate your location.

If CHS is too woke to send your son I have to wonder what school they would be willing to send their kid to.
I hear Hitler Youth has some nice campuses.

WAFB Link - student phoned in bomb threat
A lot of students call in bomb threats to get out of tests or final exams or because they get sick of school by spring. It's awfully early in the year for this kind of stunt.

Probably not a student. It is happening at schools around the country and a bunch of Synagogues over the weekend. LINK
