You told this same story about Steve Harvey.
He did. I remember that.
The only celebrity story I have is that I waited on Brittney Murphy when she was in BR filming a movie. She was filming that day and dressed up like she was doing yard work all day. Her fat arse husband was with her along with two other people. I had absolutely no clue who she was but the girls at the restaurant were going crazy with questions. She was very nice, asked me a lot of questions about the menu, took my suggestion, loved it, and signed the menu at the request of the owners wife. I had to later google her on the managers computer for them to prove to me she was a major star.

I met Kelly Anne from the Real World. I was sitting at a sushi bar eating with a friend. There was a very attractive woman sitting a few spots from me. Once she left the bartender told me who she was. I was pissed I did not talk to her. Later on I saw her walking outside so I said hi and asked for a picture. She wrapped her arms around me like we were a couple and we took several pictures. We then talked about the challenge show for a few minutes. And that is the best celebrity story I can do.

Not me, but my dad. I was I the band at Penn State for the 1997 Fiesta Bowl against Texas. My folks flew down for the game and were staying at some resort that the Alumni Association booked. Every morning, my dad would work out at the fitness center and there was a a black gentleman with a massive beard working out like a fiend every morning. They talked during their workouts and sat down for coffee after their workouts. Last day, my dad said “ I never got your name”. Gentleman said, “Franco Harris”. My dad’s jaw dropped to the floor. I guess Franco assumed my dad knew who he was.
Being my parents grew up in Texas and Oklahoma, my dad knew about him, but couldn’t pick him out from a police line up.

I meet celebrities all the time. I have seen some shady stuff go on at night with some. Most are just normal and want to hang with people.
In regards to an interesting story that I saw happen this is more of a funny LSU related one so I will share. We were eating at this breakfast cafe in Be early Hills up in one of the canyons. Ben Simmons and the Kardashian he was dating at the time we’re eating two tables away. We were sitting on this little patio outside the front door. She had her dog with her and it bot one of the other patrons. Sure enough it was all over the tabloids the next day. My daughter thought it was so cool. Lol.

Partied with Roy Bittan from the E Street band in B.R. one Christmas. Met actor L. Q. Jones and David Duke at a restaurant around here. Partied with a few Formula 1 drivers in Singapore with their dates. Next day flew out and one of the drivers dates was on the plane and gave me a big hug. We danced a lot the night before. Everybody on the plane that witnessed thought I was a OT baller. This was in 77.

Not really anything as cool, but I did get to meet Dez Bryant, Nelly, Mike Vick, and Cameron Jordan at a celebrity flag football game my dad got tickets into for work. Dez was cool, I looked like a goofball in the picture (was a 13-14 year old cowboys fan at the time) Dez is built like a damn brick house. Cam Jordan is one of the nicest people you could meet. Took pictures with the family and had a full conversation. Nelly is about as short as the longest yard makes him look, wasnt anything memorable about Mike Vick. He was cool. Ran into Marvin Lewis at a bengals team store while on a family vacation in Cincy, really nice guy as well.

Sat next to John Glenn on the Senate subway train in DC. Nice guy. I asked the usual question, “What’s it feel like to ride a rocket into space?”
And he answered, “It feels great until you start to think about how the rocket builder was the low bidder on a govt contract”

In the early 90s babysat Jay Thomas’s kids while he road in Orpheus.
Checked him and his family in on a flight out of Ft Walton back in my airline days. Ran into him a couple years later a Job’s cafe downtown Baton Rouge at a new job that had an office down the street. Ran into him again walking into a bathroom at New Orleans International. The last time he looked disturbed when he saw me, all completely coincidental, but I may have a restraining order against me

Thta’s awesome, i would definitely recognize Franco Harris.. but i dont follow baseball, so one time circa 15 yrs ago i was waiting for an airport shuttle at LAX for about 20 min, just me and this one older guy.. we started talking and i noticed his Washington Nationals duffel bag.. he said he worked for the club, then told me he used to play in the MLB, and that his sons were current players.. turns out he was Bob Boone, then General Manager of the Nats, and his sons are Bret & Aaron Boone.

I was in a suite at the relocated Saints game (vs Miami) at Tiger Stadium in 2005.
Ride down the elevator following the game and ended up with Benson & Tagliabue amidst a not happy horde of locals who were mad at Benson’s intent to relocate the Saints to San Antonio.
Benson was almost 80 years old then, it was not a good scene for him there, very few security/cops present and he had to go through a tight bunch of people.
PS: Tagliabue is a tall mofo.
