As a rule to live by, I try not to judge people. You are making that really difficult for me, though.

Threw mine in the fire pit a couple weeks ago. It was flocked, and it burnt in seconds with flames 15 ft. high.
When I was a kid, we didn’t even pick up flocked trees for our bonfires because they wouldn’t burn.
Mandela Effect?

Mardi Gras tree
When did this become a thing?
Downvotes rained on me on the recruiting board when I called the Mardi Gras tree up in LSU football building dumb.
I don't ever remember them being a thing as a kid growing up in New Orleans area in the 80s and 90s.

I noticed today, a about two hours ago that a house in my neighborhood still has their Christmas lights (white lights) up and on.

Same. Wife does that crap but I don’t care. Lets me procrastinate another few months before dealing with the tree.

I'm sure the neighbors trailer still has Halloween decorations up as well OP.

Took ours down on MLK Day, like God intended.

For some reason, a few folks in Montana leave the tree and lights up well into February. Looks festive with the snow.

Mardi Gras tree now. Might do an Easter tree in the spring.
Then transition to Red White and Blue to celebrate America, (Memorial Day, America 250, 4th of July, Labor Day).
After Labor Day, it becomes a Spooky Tree for Halloween, Turkey or Fall Tree for Thanksgiving, and then back up with the Christmas Decorations on Black Friday.
Up next on Martha Stewart, keeping up your Christmas Tree, year round to by making it a conversation piece the whole family will enjoy. Sponsored by your friends at Hobby Lobby.
