I know it's lost on all you trump and commie russia lovers, but in this country we have a little thing called innocent until proven guilty.
I know you're a fricking idiot but this didn't happen in this country.

She hates Trump, but Trump would have had her out of there and back home in less than a week. He did that for the three UCLA basketball players who shoplifted in China. (Why is it always basketball players?)

You guys can just admit you don't like her, but she's a US citizen, regardless of what she's said in the past about personal politics.
I hardly know anything about her. I don’t dislike her at all. Unless Russia framed her then I don’t feel sympathy for her. Sounds like you think everyone has an agenda. How about you? You got an agenda?

Let's not act like Russia has never made shite up to have political prisoner bargaining chips.
She might have had trace amounts of it in her vape from back home in the U.S. It's hardly "smuggling".

She broke the laws of a country that actually enforces their laws.

I'm not concerned.
I don't care.
She broke their laws and is subject to their process.

I have as much sympathy for her as she would for my evil, straight, white male arse.
Like I mentioned on another board, the only thing that would make her getting a 10 year sentence in Russia, would be for the Russians to give her a cell phone to access her Twitter account so her clueless minions could get a daily report on what actual oppression looks like.

We should all be outraged that she HAD to go to Russia to earn a living because of sexism in the US. She only made $250k per year playing in the WNBA and no one can expect someone to live on that little money.

Manson was in jail during his trial. What’s your beef?

It's sad that the Politards can only see things through a political lens. It could not be more obvious that an American citizen is be held as a political pawn, and that this is complete overreach on the part of Russia. You wouldn't be arguing this if a loved one were in her shoes.

she had a vape pen full, and multiple cartridges. Early on, they reported that she was used to doing this and getting away with it because her boss, a big Russian billionaire, was friends with Putin. She spent ample time at his home.
The war starts, The Russky and Putin have a falling out, she is arrested. Nobody says she didn't do it, with the exception of a few in the media that are trying to gin up a story, where it doesn't exist.
Even her wife and friends don't say she didn't do it. They just say "Let Britney go" repeatedly, as if chanting it 10,000 times each makes it magically happen.

Is this typical of how their court system would treat someone caught in possession of a vaporizer pen, be that a citizen of Russia or a typical tourist? If it is, then so be it. I don't believe that it is. And, if it's not, our State Department and government has a duty to look into why she isn't being released or getting a fair trial.
Can't answer all of these questions, but they did just give a different American tourist on a Visa 14 years for a similar charge/situation. And, I think he had less than Griner on him
