right now at honey b ham in LC, they are charging $8/lbs and there are 25 cars in line at all times from before they open until close. Its nuts.
I know a bunch of places IN LC got hurt from the hurricanes and are still closed but the ones that are open are stupid busy. Beauxdins is packed every damn day right now.

It literally was just a couple months ago when I saw a news segment with crawfishermen saying that this year's season could be the LOWEST in decades.

Only time I send a pic of a big pile of crawfish, shrimp, or crabs is to my daughter in colorado.... Just to rub it in and make her jealous...... And I always get the same reply from her.... frick you dad!..... The only time I get that from her.... Good times

I generally don't even attempt to buy crawfish until mid-Feb at the earliest. If I can get away with decent prices for Mardi Gras Day, I'm happy.
