I have a bachelor's and I worked from home during COVID. My contributions to society were meaningless. I played world of Warcraft 90% of the day at "work"

You fat bro.

OK, WFH is on the downslide, unless you're super top-notch, $250K.

Not my opinion, recent stats per WSJ and LinkedIn.

You're struggling to simply contribute to the OT Lounge. What exactly do you contribute to society much less my life?

My company just announced that they're cutting down WFH...I think while it's not feasible in every industry, it's feasible in a lot. And once employees realize that their production/client satisfaction isn't dipping at all without having to trudge to the office, sit in a windowless space, and BS with Joe Schmo about their weekend, it's really hard to go away from that.

I don't see WFH as stopping production. I see it as keeping the same production while allowing for extra flexibility. And if a Karen or a Chad can't get their work done as effectively at home, then I see no issue with the company telling them "Your production is down, you've lost this privilege."

But to make sweeping claims about WFH is ridiculous IMO.

I literally can't even count on my hands how many lives I've saved with my job. It is a very meaningful and fulfilling job

They would be so much better for society if they spent an hour a day in traffic to do the same work at an office.

WFH is the biggest scam in human history. Thank God Trump, Elon, and Jeff Bezos is about to end it

I have the morning news on in my office at home, and really enjoy not being in that traffic anymore.

Just how stupid are you?
I just watched a video of a cute infant doing very cute things ... with a mute mic on during a zoom meeting.

A very complicated med mal issue.
Fwiw, the person posting the clip .... was lead attorney on the case.

Those are facts.

Most of the IT security guys I know work from home.

You know, those guys that help keep your medical data from getting stolen by the Russians and the Chinese?

This is something I really disagree with Musk about. Are our jobs about controlling us and micromanaging, or about completing the work? Because if our jobs are about our contributions to the company, and there are no decreases in contributions from working from home, then how is WFH a "problem" or a "scam."
