Not really, but only because I still work from home.
If I was back in the office 5 days a week I would absolutely miss quarantine.

I did get 2 “covid vacations” just for having sinus issues that’s i always have.
So i got 4 weeks of paid time off. That part was amazing

yep, traffic was dramatically lighter because I went about doing the things I always do while others hid in their basement

I miss covid keeping stupid people at home and off the roads.
And I'm not talking about the ones who may have had legit reasons to stay at home (elderly, sick, etc.).

This. I miss less traffic and crowds. Granted, I was in one of the free states.
Now I am like, where were all these assholes two years ago?

Hell no. That shite was miserable.

My life didn’t change because I didn’t comply with the woke liberal bullshite
Posted on 1/12/23 at 5:54 pm to HtxDr
Doesn’t matter if you changed anything. Everything around you changed unless you never went to restaurants or anywhere else.

I know what you mean, we didn’t have to be at 50 different kids activities every single day. It was nice that life slowed down

You spoke to people MORE once you were quarantined?? Not a big social life I guess.

NO
Ready for things to continue getting back to normal whatever that is anymore. Tired of people still using Covid as an excuse for every F#@% thing.

I had to go to work anyway.

I obviously hated the gov’t mask mandates but looking back I enjoyed how much time I spent not traveling for work and enjoying home time. I’d easily bullshite some stupid zoom work call and call it a day.
We’d have weekend bonfires with neighbors and it made people actually talk to each other.
You weird

How is everyone downvoting you? Absolutely miss it! Grilled every day, rode bikes with the family, stayed up and watched movies with the kids, etc. Absolutely was awesome.

I actually enjoyed it. We worked two shifts of 7 on 7 off. Days. It was wonderful while it lasted.

There are aspects of it I enjoyed, while also not liking how I felt forced into doing those things. Like, we all bitch about how hectic life can be, but life really did slow down those first few months. It was nice not having to be here or there, no meetings all day at work, no traffic to and from work, re-connecting with neighbors, etc.
Living by myself though, I got really lonely after a few months of working from home a lot.

Not sustainable for a productive society. It was a false reality that set this country back decades.
