Does Austin, Texas have the most nature diversity east of the Rockies?

West of the city is arid and borderline desert. East of the city looks like Dallas and stretches into prairie until you near Houston. North feels like Oklahoma. South turns hilly and forested.

Diverse as the cuisine.

I didn’t sign you in to the last breakout group of the day. They know you’re skipping.

Well, you referenced cuisine, so I was going with that...which it is.
As far as nature - I disagree with OP...I do not believe it's all that diverse here. Are there a bunch of things you can do IN nature here, sure...but the natural landscape in central Texas is fairly all the same.
Some nice rivers/streams, some rolling hills, and a bunch of trees that spew so much pollen that people want to move away simply because of it.

I know one thing Austin does have and its Terry Black's!

I’ve lived in Austin for 15 years and none of what you said directionally makes any sense.

Ranked high per capita income and generally safe. How awful!

East of the Rockies, you’re on the air!
