Dairy Queen sucks. Whataburger has gone into no ho territory for me. Way back in used to love their patty melts. I won't go to Whataburger anymore and they're all around me.
Sonic is obviously popular in Oklahoma (it's headquarters is in OKC) but I prefer a different Oklahoma chain--Braum's. Their crinkly fries aren't the best but no worries. Their burgers and shakes are on point.

Lots do folks in south checking knuckles at Sonic - Popeyes I’ll throw in there too bc always a fight a Popeyes.

Captain D’s for Alabama is bullshite. I don’t even know where one is near me . I don’t know anybody who eats there.

Not sure if they shifted their corporate focus on better service or whatever, but I've been in and out almost every time for years now.
Additionally I've never had these issues at the Popeyes in SD. Must be location-specific.
