Just curious if you are white or black?

People on here equate Essence to the Southern Classic. I don't know about this year but that's typically a completely different class of people.

the bayou classic is the worst large crowd on New Orleans’ tourism calendar without question, but a very close second is the high school playoffs weekend. Those crowds are predominantly white trash and they are almost as bad

In the early 2000s i worked at the lord & Taylor in the New Orleans center - essence and bayou classic are two reasons I’d never work retail again

E) feeling unwelcome by local businesses.

I’ve heard way better music on Carnival Cruises.

Do they turn off a/c in Dome?

Lots of federal employees laid off in the Spring.
If they took Trump’s going away package they should have money.
Some may have been on the take through some special USAID groups that had its funding cut. And they would have been fired without an option of a government golden parachute.

Did the acts not start on time or something?
I'm confident this event is managed impeccable and everything is always on schedule.

What is so bad about the high school championship crowds?
Posted on 7/5/25 at 5:20 pm to NIH
trashy, belligerent, drunk, cheap (very very cheap), entitled and stupid…generally. We were right next to the dome so we were full to the brim with them. the primary difference between that crowd and the bayou classic crowd was they didn’t cook in their rooms, so there’s that I guess.

It had very little to do with the time. Essencers are still partying then every other night. Lauryn Hill is just a POS. Hate to see it.

Yep, you definitely won’t find any racists at a black event, not one.
