Unfortunately not very well:(
… I am holding since beginning;(
… even dollar averaged down..
Am surprised ..saudis own60 percent of the company and they are building factories over there…saudis are very focused on converting to electric for many things.. they are pretty forward thinking in their investments.. lucid also took Tesla VP of technology to run things.. from what I read the car has the best tech but is struggling with headwinds and marketing.. they are trying to fix that but idk.. I see commercials on tv now..
Saudis threw another billion in late last year. I think..

Fisker?? I hardly knew her.
I love when I open a thread to post something like this and someone not only already did it, but as the first reply.

My boss recently bought a Fisker Karma for his car collection. It’s a beautiful automobile but according to my boss, an utter piece of shite.

I live within literally a mile from Rivian (doing poorly), Lordstown (BK) and Karma (offshoot of Fisker after their last BK).
Rivians all over the place. Saw a few Fisker Karmas over the years, but not an actual new Karma. Never saw one Lordstown vehicle. Their building used to house Saleen before he moved back east.
Also have the KIA and Hyundai design studios nearby.
Always see test mules driving down the street with their removable canvas panels.

About = to Rivian, in terms of financial health.

Saw one of these Lucids yesterday downtown BR. How are they doing?
It’s been tough going but to me it’s still a long term hold because of the weird Saudi arrangement. There was rumor of some Saudi takeover a while back and the shares jumped 10x. Either way it’s proof of some long term sustainability. Domestically, the technology is there but they are bleeding red.

Soooo close....
I would not want to watch them literally live up to their name.

Fisker Karma is actually a nice looking car and pretty rare...
2021 Fisker Karma GS-6
MSRP: $82,000 - $155,000

Dude wasn't even building his own cars. They subcontracted it out.

Has been a scam from day one. It was never about building vehicles, it was all about grifting.

I tried to buy an Ocean about a month ago when they slashed the prices. Of course it was going to be a big risk knowing they were likely going under but it I was ok with that for the price. It is a nice looking vehicle but they weren’t able to come through with one that had the features I wanted.

I would not invest in Lucid for one reason - one of their board members (Andrew Liveris) damned near, singlehandedly drove his former company (Dow) into bankruptcy with his ill-timed and bone-headed acquisitions (Rohm & Haas in particular). He is a slimy weasel dick.
His last name is an anagram for "Sir Evil", a name that fits him to a tee.

It’s first gen cars were gorgeous.
Once the batteries inevitably crap out, it'd be cool if someone picked one up on the cheap and dropped a LS7 in it.

I saw about a month ago that there were then-current and former Fisker maintenance guys who were setting up to do private service after the company went down. I hope some of those dudes copied the software package. Those cars get a lot of adjustment through wifi.
