Then there is spaghettimodels.com that looks like a weather computer just dumped all the models and maps on a single page.

As I have gotten older and now that we computers and computer models, what was the point of these things.

Were they just adverstisements wrapped around information directing you to the TV or radio station of the printer.

Just a hobby, but also didn’t have immediate access to stuff like we do now. Maybe helped folks remember where it’s at? I have one that is used with magnets to track. Neat thing, the kid likes it.
