For the life of me I don't know how anyone liked this show. The dialogue and acting were atrocious.

this, terrible show, was forced to watch through a couple of episodes with the wife and daughter, I guess those two were supposed to portrayed as a brave, and bold single mom raising a street wise kid? they came across as a couple of dumb bimbos to me

And yes that’s a string duo. I was always shocked Kari Wuhrer was never more of a bigger star. She was a smoke show.

My sisters all went to the same Catholic girls school in Houston that Alexis Bledel went to, and the character seemed pretty realistic to me. She didn't have as much of the mean streak, though.
