That sounds like a good idea for a show on A&E or TLC or some shite.

I thought the only people who owned pit bulls were felons and future felons.

Not true. Mine doesn't even look like a pit, more boxer, hound, mutt. He is sweet, but anxious. I would never let him around kids or other dogs because it makes me nervous. I have a co-worker that keeps insisting "Bring him to the dog park and socialize him!" Um, no, I'm not putting down my dog because your stupid little dog came running up. (I have had that happen here, people with little dogs, off leash, and they come flying up to my pup. Not pretty.)

Ok. Legit question.
If he's a "young vet" why does he have a pitbull as a service animal? There are plenty of legit organizations be working with vets and I highly doubt they place them with Pitbulls.

Anyone got details on this sort of stuff? Just doesn't sound right at all.

My sister in law got a service animal, and it was a pit. Or looked like one to me, she called it some sort of "terrier".

I remember during the flood there was an issue, the first place they evacuated to was a church (which later flooded btw), and they wouldn't take that dog in.

We raised boxers awhile, and my brother has one. That dog is so hyper it constantly jumps fences and bangs against the doors. It would only want to play, but I could see it doing something like this.

Sorry you live in section 8 housing. I’m sure things will get better for you.

Such ignorance.

It’s like you’re unaware that among many young, progressive, and relatively successful adults it’s quite “cool” to own have a “rescue” pit bull.

I pulled my dog out of a pit bull’s jaws before. Good times.

Ha. What part?

What would be the purpose of coming on TD to tell a fake detailed story about me being attacked by a dog?

I didn't see any teeth marks on that shoe...just kidding. You have to remember, a number of pit owners possibly posting here and "these are good dogs and wouldn't hurt anyone"!

you should press charges if possible to stop this now. he will not address the problem correctly. had a dog in our neighborhood like that and owner would walk it. it was just mean.
broke lease and killed a little dog another person was walking. owner said it was on a lease just got away. cops said all they could do was report it and owner had to have the dog wear a vest stating vicious animal when walking. (if killed a human could put it down)
they really needed to put that thing down!!!!!
the owner not the dog..

They were absolutely bred as nanny dogs, how does this statement make someone dumb? You are echoing an emotional response to media clickbait. You literally have a better chance of being struck by lightning than attacked by a Pit Bull.
