So how would you respond if change you expected to receive was slammed on the counter in front of you?
Is there a video of it supposedly being “slammed” on the counter as opposed to just placed on the counter?

In either instance, I would grab my change and leave. If the cashier had an attitude, maybe I just don’t stop at that particular convenience store next time. But I’m not escalating it into some sort of confrontation because I didn’t like how my change was placed on a counter.

I wouldn't give a frick. I'd pick my change up and continue my day. I don't give a damn what some convenience store jockey thinks.

Let me help you understand, c on z:

I see two different scenarios and I wish security video would be released.

1. The change was not slammed on the counter.

OR

2. The change was slammed on the counter after the customer did something to provoke that reaction from the cashier. A common feature of these disrespect stories is you never hear about the events leading up to the disrespect.

That would involve work. Something that that community is extremely allergic to.

Ghetto shite that is the root of the whole situation.

When I came back in to ask how long it would take, I was told 20 minutes. I said I wasn’t waiting that long

Entitled ghetto shite

Then I looked up and saw a deputy pull into the lot. I didn’t trip — I knew I was in the right.

He didn’t trip, guyz. Yo, yo, ghetto shite

That’s when the cashier started fast-talking, finger-pointing, acting alarmed. Full blown Karen shite.

I got the owner’s number, and he needs to seriously consider his staffing.

Accuses cashier of Karen, but is Karen.

I don’t back down because someone calls the police. I wasn’t breaking the law — you just didn’t like being checked

Back to the ghetto shite

Hey, Gravy Chamber, define this respek that you demand for us. C’mon, you can do it. I’m of the belief that it simply means “don’t say or do anything that I don’t like.”

I would immediately think it’s because of my race and demand the cashier call the owner at home.

1) j doubt he pays taxes

2) while government doesn’t run retail, the fact that probably little taxes are paid by residents also means there is little income in the area, which means businesses won’t want to be there.
