Don't assume the stealing was a first time thing. Stolen items get sold usually..

I wonder if she had a record in the past for theft or prostitution

I'm sure she was a good girl who just got caught up in drugs. Let's be honest, how many of these girls do " sexual favors" to pay the light bill and to eat. Very rarely is that the case. It's usually to support some sort of habit and if I had to bet it was some type of opiate. The opiate epidemic is grabbing all walks of life at an alarming rate.

Reason I ask is two-fold
1. Could give credence to the guy's story that she was trying to steal (of course doesn't excuse his actions of murder)
2. Could explain why she wasn't licensed in the first place due to a felony conviction or something of that nature.

As an aside and as someone who's never had an actual professional massage, do a lot of professional masseuses give HJ's as an added bonus? We all joke about happy endings, but curious to know if a sizeable percentage of masseuses actually do that.

What's bull shite? The fact that most prostitutes are in in it to support a habit?

You don't think anyone does it because they can? Do you think a drug addict would turn down the opportunity for more money by expanding her offerings?

I understand she was involved in a taboo world, but stop smearing her before facts come out

It's certainly possible, I just don't always find it to be the case.

She wasn't licensed because she was a prostitute, not a masseuse

You being seemingly unable to comprehend that young, attractive women (even ones that you would otherwise consider to be good girls) would engage in these types of activities other than to support a drug habit.

addictions make people do shite they would never do. It is the way it is.

if she was addicted, giving HJ's for 150.00 is a good gig for someone who is addicted

No I can comprehend that a attractive woman can do it without having to support a habit but it's the exception rather than the rule.

There are legit instances of women doing it to get through medical school, help a family member, just because someone is willing to pay, and yes, drug addiction

But stopping at HJ doesn't seem like something a drug addict would do if someone was willing to pay more

Not according to the news articles. She was "working towards becoming a licensed massage therapist". Maybe that was just flimsy reporting that her parents told the news people.

TIFWIW but here is my opinion:

She and her bf were hooked onto drugs, they needed money, so she started being a pro. Bf was fine with it because it got them money for drugs. He drove her over to the POS's "house" where he got mad that she didn't offer sex so he murdered her. After he got arrested his lawyer probably told him to make up this story about her stealing stuff to make himself seem less culpable so that he could avoid the death penalty.
