Someone started a thread the other day about a cold front.
A "cold front" for us in late September is 55 degree nights and 78 degree days.
And trust me, it's been fricking glorious not walking outside into a sauna at 6AM...but it's not exactly cold.

I love this time of year because of cheap energy bills. I only turned my heat on when we got the arctic blast in February.

We dont need to, but I might while I can leave the doors open.
Let it burn on the dust off so it doesnt smell when we actually need it.

Nope. Opened up the house windows yesterday and will probably keep it open for the next month or so. Woke up and it was 62 inside. Like camping but sleeping in your own bed.

I opened the window before bed the night before last. I woke up sweating because my wife woke up cold and turned the heater on. The window was still open.

Hell no. My heater runs on liquid gold so that thing is not getting turned on until I have a foot of snow outside

The girl in the office next to me has the thermostat that controls the air in both of our offices. She was blasting the heat this morning.
I had to open my outside door.
This winter might be miserable for me.

I can't turn on my heat yet.
Still no power.
My street is still dark.

Truck - Yes.
House - No, but I did consider it last night. Was upper 40s this morning where I live just east of ATL.

I keep the house at 78 during the day (work from home) and it was 75 before lunch but kinda stifled because the air hasn’t kicked on since yesterday afternoon so I had to crank it down just to have a bit of air flow.
Nowhere near near kicking on yet.

My wife saw a leaf hit the ground, so she's wearing boots and we're taking the kid to the pumpkin patch and I'm getting firewood delivered
Maybe sip some mulled wine when it's 85 degrees next week, should be nice
