Power came back on for 4 hours overnight in Pearland, then shut off again. And no water.

am informed on the way up the stairs that there was an issue with the fire sprinklers in the apartments on the 3rd floor. I open my door to water dripping in buckets and my carpet wet. JOY. Luckily maintenance was working on it but idk when I can really go back.

That sucks

Yeah. Apparently we have power but I have no idea what’s going on. They sent a complex wide email but I responded asking what’s up with my situation.

He is extremely pissed off and is calling for ERCOT’s head. Lawsuits and this will get ugly. I know he dropped the ball a little in the pandemic but he will fight for Texas. He’s the type of guy we need as governor in these times.

who do you think appoints ERCOT heads?

Mine was on for a few hours then a transformer blew and made a loud explosion. Power went out and hasn’t came on since. Tomball.

From what I’ve heard on KPRC, if you don’t have power, don’t expect it back before tomorrow.

I’m extremely blessed to have never lost it.

We just got it back about 45 minutes ago. We went down on Monday at 6:30 PM. We are in the old part of Cypress near N. Eldridge.

West U - out for 36 hours. Came back on about two hours ago and we now have the house toasty warm in anticipation of the next outtage. Also just repaired a broken pipe in the garage so we could turn the water back on after not having any for 24 hours

Lost it this morning around 9. Projected to come back on at 7. Houses 2 blocks north have lights so I’m hopeful.

I'm very interested in whatever this investigation is. ERCOT answers to PUCT. It's not like deregulated means the wild west out here. If PUCT was informing ERCOT moves, Abbott will essentially be investigating himself.

Humble area is part of the random rolling blackout bullshite. We get anywhere from 5 minutes to 2 hours of power at a time. Arbitrary timing and duration. This shite is fricking dumb.

Have had power back since 2 here in Spring.
Still haven’t gotten a plumber here to fix the burst pipe, so no water.
Our newborn is conveniently having a bad milk/soy allergy reaction this week too.

eta: my plumber just drove from Pasadena to Spring to fix my burst pipe. Carlos is a true American hero.

We had power in Timbergrove for 10 minutes before the rolling blackout hit. Center Point lineman said could be 15 minutes to 12 hours. Another night in the cold
