Industry is attracted to high education rates and high per capita college degree holders.

Most of the people who get degrees in Louisiana leave Louisiana because of the lack of opportunity.

It’s a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Keep voting Democrat as we have done for about 95% of our existence. It has served us very well!

Competent government and business leadership
You only get that with competent voters which is why Louisiana is ****ed.

But we can make schools in St Tammany, Ascension, Livingston, St. Bernard, etc much better. Maybe work on Jefferson.

the public schools in all those parishes make the public schools in Catahoula, Tensas, Grant, Winn, Concordia look like Episcopal.

But you are correct, education is a major factor for companies looking to relocate/expand operations into new states. They know their employees that they are bringing along are going to want to have decent school options for their families. Especially public schools which are relatively free for the students, as opposed to what the top private schools in the state cost in tuition (many more than in state tuition at LSU) which is absurd.

Incorporate a proactive infrastructure plan and implement charter schools state wide.

But biden is going to shut down small businesses, so go after something big.

O & G is one of the main economic engines for the state and Beijing Biden is going to shut that down. So it will probably get a lot worse than it already is

Have we tried extorting them? Show them how smart we are by displaying a deep understanding of embezzlement. Advertise our convicted politicians? Just some ideas to highlight our strengths.

We need to aggresively promote the Louisiana public's use of Tik Tok to show off how educated our workforce is.

We spend middle of the road per pupil among states for 48th-49th ranked schools. It's not necessarily a funding issue.

It never will as long as every single thing is based on family and friend connects and massive amounts of corruption. Has nothing to do with what type of industry or what party is in poweer.
And no. It is not remotely close to this level in most other states (theres a couple close to or equal and they are in the shitter too)

Brain drain will be continuous in Louisiana. Blue collar trades thrive, however tech will never come into fruition with higher earning potential elsewhere.

It's been going on for 30 years so I guess not.

Most of the rest of the South seems to be improving though. Our fairly low COL doesn't seem to help us for whatever reason.
