I was partying with pocket aces and he gave me some sloppy seconds. She isn't the best looking, but she is sturdy.

I met my late fiance a few weeks after Katrina in New Orleans where he was a firefighter. After a few weeks he proposed.
I met my current husband also in the aftermath of Katrina but it was just a brief " Hi, how are you?". After my fiance died I contacted him to let him know. When hurricane Gustav was coming he invited me to evacuate to his home and we fell in love as we worked side by side doing disaster relief. We made a good team and have been married for years.

Met my wife when her boyfriend at the time brought her by my house. He was an acquaintance of mine. Years later, long after they had split and she and I had both been married to other people, had kids, and divorced, we connected again through a girl I dated back in my early 20's. It was supposed to be just one date, just an opportunity to catch up, but turned out to be much more. Working on together forever now.

She came to a party with some acquaintances of mine. We hit it off that night, but didn't speak again for quite a while. We started talking again on Myspace (back when myspace was popular ) and the rest is history.
