of all the cosmetic procedures its the most benign. i dont see the big deal with her getting it if it makes her feel better.
i mean most people dont think much about boob jobs or nose jobs and thats much more invasive.
just dont let her inject her lips with shite. i dont know why women think that looks good. number one way to easily frick up a good face.

No...it has to do with more of a moral issue for me. Why do you need to change your appearance? There is some underlying reason and it should be solved any other way besides filling your face with botox.
Do you "allow" your wife to wear make-up? Color her hair? Wear jewelry? Do you also put your foot down on those things? We, as women, do all kinds of things to accessorize ourselves. It's fun and shouldn't be taken so seriously.
I've had Botox a few times because I mega loathe the frown lines between my eyes. Does it make me look younger? Probably not, but I personally think I look less grumpy, so there's that.
Plus, you dictate how much Botox you get. Getting a little baby dose in problem areas will just relax those muscles. Just makes you look well-rested. No harm in that!

"Am I wrong for putting my foot down about this?"
And the answer to that is YES. Yes on so many levels.
Yes, so much yes, you are wrong. Neither my husband nor I ever used the sentence, "I'm putting my foot down about ______," in regards to something the other person wanted to do. If that's how your marriage works, then you are a very controlling husband. She can listen to your opinion, but you don't get to "let" her do stuff or "put your foot down."

Separate note: those lip injections look disgusting on women how tf do they think that makes them look good.
Lip injections are filler. They are not botox.

None of them will ever have the sweet little old lady grandma. It’s like the old lady on the tweety bird cartoons will be a rarity.
Who the hell wants to be this woman? That sounds like a boring life where all you do is wait on other people. Nope. Not me or the women I know.

Men tend to age better than women.
Not true. They tend to same in similar fashion. But society is more accepting of how men look when they age.

All I know is if she's thinking about getting some Botox and you can think of 100 things you'd rather do than have sex with her she is currently or will soon be getting it somewhere else.

It isn't nearly the deal people make it out to be. Botox is not what makes people look crazy when you see the stereotypical "overdone" people. That's fillers. Botox doesn't make anything bigger. It simply relaxes the muscles to prevent wrinkles from further forming.
Once you've developed wrinkles that show at rest (so not when making an expression), there's nothing Botox can do for them. That is why Botox is considered a preventative, even if you have wrinkles when making certain expressions.

Not talking about personality. This was a post about aesthetics.
Maybe a better image would be the old lady from Titanic.

But we don't want to look like that! I don't want to look like a grandma, no matter how many grandkids there are! That's why nobody calls themself Granny, Mamaw, etc. anymore. Everybody is Mimi, Lolly, CiCi, Sissy, GaGa, Glamma, etc. I don't have a single friend that uses a traditional grandma name.

Tell her not to sneeze. Botulism ain't something to mess around with.

So not exactly related to the OP, but I recently learned the botulinum toxin A (aka Botox) is the most lethal poison in the world. Something like 1g of it is enough to kill 1 million people. Obviously it’s used in very limited doses with the shots

Botox in moderation doesn’t bother me. It’s when it’s so aggressive that it freezes their face that it be aimed a problem.
It’s the lip and face filler of this new crop of whores that is out of control.

problem with Botox is it leaves pitting scars over time on the face which is worse than the wrinkles...
Posted on 10/22/22 at 8:41 pm to Tacktheritrix
Sweet Jesus-Is it 1950? Does she actually need your permission??? Botox in moderation is no big deal. Only when done in large doses does is make your face look frozen. It’s HER decision-not yours anyway.
