Climate change has been around forever. I still don’t understand why there would be anyone today that denies it is real. I get that there is a debate on how much humans are contributing to it, but there is no denying that the climate has been going in cycles (even hotter than now) for hundreds of thousands of years. There really is no chance we can stop the earth from doing what it does. Many don’t understand that. Maybe we can slow change down...maybe not.

I believe in it too. Just dont think the solution is a New World Order of unified Governments controlling every aspect of my life to solve it.

Millions. It was hot in the Cretaceous. That was about 60 to 140 million years ago. You know the time of giant dragonflies and oysters, dinosaurs and such. Yeah the climate does change. I'm an earth scientist (retired). We looked at changes in life over time for about the past 500 million years and even more.

Can we do away with the term "global warming"? Its stupid and was created to create fear in order to get people to pay attention (and a decent change there were people who invested in energy saving products so their main goal was to get people buying certain products)..

Anyway, but it is climate change.. And no shite there is climate change. The climate is always changing.. Long term and short term. After all, there was the ice age. That was a huge climate change.

Weather patterns have changed, there is no question. BUT at the same time there is more damage being done today because there is more to damage.

How far back do we have data of day to day weather conditions? I would guess maybe what? 150 years? In terms of the age of the earth that is a very small record of data.

And back to there being more shite to damage. That is also part of the reason flooding is happening more. More houses, more construction.. The water has to go somewhere.

I just listen to the people that have studied the climate over people that haven't.

Hate to put it in simpleton terms but that's what I do.

Inoceramus. Look at that big sucker. If it wasn't warm it wouldn't have gotten that large.

You mean the people that lose their funding if they don't find data that supports global warming? Surely they don't have an agenda.

Climate always changes and has since the beginning of time.

The alarmist with the coldest or hottest ever calls have no idea what the hottest or coldest is as we have only been tracking that data for an extremely short time.

It’s laughable to think that Man can control Mother Nature.

Can we be better stewards of the planet.

There are far far worse polluters in the world that the US and they definitely need to do better.

Glacial melt alone is proof the planet has warmed in the last 100 or so years.

But that’s a drop in the bucket compared to the age of the planet and its highly unlikely we’ve had a significant cause or can do anything about it.

It’s the sun bro.

No doubt in my mind, as one who works outdoors, the climate is definitely changing. Just like it has periodically changed throughout the history of the earth. Nothing mankind can do about it but adapt. God above controls the weather. It has nothing to do with the internal combustion engine.

I don’t live in Louisiana. But there’s a reason you can get across the bridge so fast. No one lives there. I am from there. But it is a total shite stain.
