May be my favorite (non pron) pic on the internet.

Acura’s are great vehicles. Honda reliability and nice standard features.
They are not as quiet (or NVH in general) as Lexus. They drive a bit differently than Lexus/Toyota, so if she’s used to that and liked it, may not like the Acura. Their SH-AWD is great, but it kills gas mileage.
Are you looking at the RLX or the TLX?

I just bought the MDX. The ability to have the SH-AWD outweighs the decrease in gas mileage in my opinion. THe Lexus is more luxury, but the Acura is better handling and quicker.

It's traditionally a good car but check out the reviews on the last two years
Lots of disappointed reviews. And transmission issues

My wife and my girlfriend both have one. They seem to like it. Never complain about it

Had an RSX Type-S in highschool that was fast as frick. I had it boosted and blew the engine going about 140 on 12 between Walker and Denham.
Don't boost your shite without an egt gauge.

My favorite of any I have seen, though I do also really like this one...

I have a 2014 MDX and love it. However, if your wife really wants a Lexus she should get a Lexus.

Mine had transmission issues at 100k miles. Got a Lexus after that and liked it more

Acura was in our final 2 for 2 vehicles. Went with Lexus on a car since I liked the layout a bit more and didn't require premium fuel. Went with Infiniti for the SUV since we got a way better deal and liked it a hair more. Otherwise, I did like the Acura value. Although I hate the front end on most of their vehicles. (Lexus and I Infiniti aren't great either)

I suppose you're talking about the suspension, steering, and drive train, but the grill on the GS is massive. Not real fond of that, but then, it won't be my car anyway.

Yes the Honda Acura is good. Not as good as the Toyota Lexus in my opinion. My wife wants something other than a Toyota since we've had them for over a decade. I research this shite too much. Hope she'll see Lexus as something different.

I've search high and low for this picture. It may be the best picture ever captured. It belongs in the Smithsonian. Thank you so much for bringing it to me.

no....aesthetics. I have an ES350, so I'm not even caring about the sportiness. I drive a land yacht f a car. But its a comfy commute and good to take customers to lunch. Just would change up the design on all 3 of those manufacturers front ends if I had the say so. Although the Infiniti isn't nearly as bad as Lexus and Acura.

I've had two Lexus GX's and two Acura MDX's. Obviously, the Lexus costs more, but I gotta say, the MDX is a GREAT value. The GX is no doubt nicer, but it's also like almost $30k more. If you've got $30k to burn, buy a GX. If not, the MDX is a great car that won't disappoint. Great technology.

Had an Acura TSX a few years back. Never had any problems at all.

Acura is generally a solid car but has a different character compared to a Lexus. Lexus has more of a luxury lean and Acura more of a sporty drive, assuming we are not talking about the Lexus F cars. IN NVH Lexus wins as well as with the quality of interior materials and exterior fit and finish. In general Lexus cars are better engineered and Acura hasn't been able to shake their transmission issues that have popped up on various models for 20 years. There are things that are nicer with the Acura infotainment but the Lexus Mark Levinson sound system is still one of the better ones put in mid-range cars.
If she keeps a car 4-6 years and less than 100K then durability is much less of an issue.
The bottom line is people can give you a much better comparison if you verify which models you are looking at, I would guess it is the GS vs TLX but you need o confirm.

It's the luxury Honda.
Just like Lexus is the luxury Toyota.
