My electric bill is way down compared to last June.
I grew up with rain every single day during June and July.

Oh yay just what we needed. A fricking deluge during the night to compliment our daily rain torrents.

I’ll take it. Nothing worse than a 100 degree and dry BR.

Three times this week I left my apartment to go on a run thinking surely the rain was done for the day....ended up drenched each time. I was never one for checking the radar.

I woke up around 3am to the dog giving me a "what the frick is happening" look and a flash flood warning on my phone.

It’s bad enough when it’s raining twice a day pretty much every day, but we’ve had several days in the last two months that it rained 3 or 4 times in one day.
Hot and moist all day.

Yeah the rain since about 3 am has been insane. I am just waiting for my house to start leaking from all over

Definitely most I can remember at least in my five years at current home

South LA is really screwed if we get a major hurricane this year. With the ground as saturated as it is, any wind will inflict serious tree damage.

Can’t cut grass for another week now. Ridiculous

Looks like another full day of rain for south LA.
It's been cross your fingers mode each afternoon if my toddler's swim lessons will get canceled. Miraculously only 1 day has been postponed. Just a few more days to go, but it always seems like a crap shoot.

I slept soundly through it. Likely not as noisy as what we called "heat lightning" which would light up the sky and fill the night with thunder back in the day, and no rain.
