Literally anybody that's been on top of a mountain or in an airplane can see for themselves that this theory is fricking nuts, I'm not sure why we're even entertaining this guy
It's weird that I can stand on Pinnacle Mountain in central Arkansas and not see beyond about 5-7 miles, let alone downtown Little Rock or... I don't know.... CHINA.
Same with flying in an airplane. It's weird that you can actually watch the sunset 30,000 ft above ground level, isn't it? Doesn't make sense at all if earth were flat.

There's even a clip in this thread of an astrophysicist examining why you CAN'T see the curve from there. So which is it?
Are you literally just making up a curve in your head? You think it should be so it is? Because even people who believe it's curved admit they don't see it

The picture you posted is an illustration of how the big dipper might appear at roughly the same time of day/night (call it dusk) by season. It doesn't take 3 months for the big dipper to shift 90 degrees. What Obtuse1 is trying to explain to you is that it makes a full revolution every day, plus a little bit more. It's that little bit more that adds up to about 90 degrees over the course of 3 months. It's not "extraneous" information, it is information that is vital to understanding what's really happening.
My money is still on you being a troll, but if you aren't then you are incredibly stupid.

But after JFK the CIA sent a memo to dismiss any people who questioned the lone gunmen theory, literally basic conspiracy theorists. For just what the term literally means. But over time you keep belittling people and it becomes a label, a meme and it arrests thought. We see this still today, anything they don't want you to know is labeled "conspiracy theory"
