Southern Sheriffs and those that idolize them are apparently not just a movie stereotype.

frick him. I know police are supposed to put him in handcuffs, arrest him and bring him in and follow procedure.. And I am not all "back the blue" or anything, like anything else, there are good and bad police, etc, but obviously this did is a problem. To people like that, if they end up getting their arse whipped by cops.. Then they should avoid doing shite to get arrested.

Reminds me of the story of Esteban Carpio. He was arrested and being interviewed by a detective. A fight e sued and he killed the detective with his own weapon. Jumped out of a second story window. Cops caught him not far away and beat the guy almost to desth(deserved it). They put a spit mask on him when he went to court to try and hide some of it. His family was outraged….not about him killing a cop.

Should have cut his head off with a spoon.

There is a book that outlines procedure for any and every situation.
There are times when one has to choose to follow or not follow the book based on one’s situation.
I’m not sure what the book says about violent, repeat offenders.
I’m not sure what the book says about prone offenders.
To me, this one looks like it could have been handled better.
Have a conversation with the arresting (or assisting) officer. Let’s do better next time. Thank you for your service.

1. There shouldn’t be female cops

2. Dude should’ve turned the body cam off and just killed him.

Should bring back nightsticks.
When I was on Navy Shore Patrol,in Rota Spain my go-to technique was to wack a fighter on the shin with my nightstick.Amazing how well it worked, one lick with the stick and the fight was over.

I would never hit someone in the head with my fist and take a chance on breaking my hand. Our rules were no blows to the head anyway.

Able bystanders should be compelled to assist officers who are in life threatening situations. That way they could be of some good to society instead of dividing it by filming and selling the video for profit.

The guy in military BDU’s approached to help.
He saw that foot stomp, turned and walked away.
Said, nah, don’t need my help.

Sounds like the female officer is a liability to the department.

Looks to me like he was violently attaching a deputy. No problem whatsoever with that.

Whenever an officer is taken down to the ground and is fighting for their life, that is a potential lethal force encounter. There is at least one firearm involved 100% of the time. Often the first to deploy that firearm is the winner.

That’s your worst nightmare as a LEO.
