You really think the other Southern states will just give their coast lands away to Florida?
Not likely, and there's no way Florida takes anything by force. They're more likely ti split up their own state, than to gain territory from others.

Not necessarily.
There are safe guards in place to prevent the Government from using the military against it's own citizens.
A more likely scenario would be the government using the military against the Canadians if they try to get involved.
An even more likely scenario would be the government using the military against a European (Russia) or Asian (China) country that would most likely attempt to take advantage of any break down in our republic to advance their own agenda.
