I think weed in moderation is as ok as alcohol in moderation. Same goes for hip hop, rock n roll, violent movies and the like.
As a parent, I don’t let my kid drink or smoke. Nor do I let him listen/watch things I find inappropriate. That is my job, not a senators

If you have a problem with it as a parent, then sure. I'm fairly confident it will be edited as super bowl halftime shows have been in the past, so I'm not really concerned. Eminem is the most violent rapper of all time and all of the shady lyrics were replaced. Pun intended

Regardless of what one thinks of this idea (and I think it's pretty stupid), this part of the article is irrelevant, misleading, and editorial in nature.
I have no doubt that when asked about this proposed legislative action, "Superdome officials" pointed out that they have nothing to do with planning the Super Bowl halftime show, but that is not pertinent to the idea under discussion here. If things are going on in there that aren't in the best interest of the people of the state, then it doesn't make sense for public funds to support the Dome.
Of course, 99% of people are going to realize that hosting the Super Bowl is to the state's advantage, but that doesn't mean that the people who run the Superdome (or otherwise benefit from its presence) don't have to answer what goes on inside of it.
