While everyone is getting caught up in "the politics" in all of this, if this guy is the shooter. I have to assume this goes beyond political or religious beliefs. A normal, rational thinking person isn't going out with the intentions to kill a bunch of people.
It says this guy was a US Marine who converted to Islam. With him being in the military and doing something like this, him simply converting to Islam didn't contribute to this. I am sure mental illness of some type played a huge role into this.. And that goes beyond the first thoughts some of you go to first.
As soon as something like this happens, people start bringing up "liberals" or "conservatives" or make this a political issue. The issue is bigger than that. Whether you are at the movies, in a club, on a trip to Las Vegas enjoying a concert, at school or in church... Or anywhere really.. On any given day someone can decide to do something to terrorize any one of our lives (whether it is you or your family, etc). I will never let these events stop me from living life, but everyone should be more concerned about why this shite continues to happen and what can be done..

Rural area, hunting season just started and game wardens were out. Game warden was the first law enforcement on site. That was why it was a quick response for law.

To shoot basically everyone in the service, he had to have gone in and controlled them before he started shooting. The church is gonna have to meet code and have multiple exits.
There is no way that he just walked in, started shooting and basically shot every last person with no one hitting an exit.

I don’t know how Progs look at these things, but after feeling terrible for the victims, my next thought is whether the circumstances will create and environment where the Progs can attack my 2A rights or rip down statues.
