I think it's funny and pretty advanced prankery for a 4 year old. Don't ever let him know you think it's funny or impressive or he will keep doing it. You're gonna have your hands full, brother!

You need parenting skills 101..Dude...your kid needs to be taught right from wrong..this behavior is 100% unacceptable and needs to be nipped in the bud. This type parenting bullshite is why we have half the problems we have in this society with young people.
Grow up and parent your son.

I have learned that arguing on the internet is like competing in the special olympics.

Even if you win you are still retarded.

If any bit of your OP is real, then a reevaluation may be necessary.

Prank was funny

Your response not so much

But if your kid was able to pull that off in the way you described, at that age, he's gonna be a leader somewhere.

I’m Gen X , my mama would’ve had the belt out so fast if I did that I

wouldn’t have been able to sit for a week . Sometimes fear is a good

motivator & me and my older brother definitely feared the belt. —( & No , I’m

not condoning physical punishment —it was accepted in those days) .I think It’s

the reason why I don’t particularly like wearing one today ; ) BTW, the

prank

was funny though . Pretty creative kid , but I agree with the others , if you

Don’t nip it in the bud , who knows what he’ll do the next time — it could be

bad news all the way around

What kind of teacher leaves a room full of 4 year olds alone for that long?

That’s the first sign that the story was made up. The second was that he got a bunch of four year olds to conspire. The third was that he locked the door.

I imagine you embellished this quite a bit for a 4 year old….however, it is kind of funny!

Finding it funny is one thing. To dismiss the teacher and blow them off, acting like it wasnt a big deal, especially to the person who is with your kid more hours of the week than you are, is the reason why good teachers quit.
