Yes. When I saw him 5 years ago, his dad opened for him

I think magician and clown.
I’m outing myself, but my mom does clown work. She’s taken courses in balloon animal making.
She’s retired and was purely volunteer but a few times a year she’d go and do parades, rodeos, etc. with the whole getup.

He’s great because he’s not edgie or vulgar. Just pure everyday jokes I feel like men and women from 25+ can enjoy. There’s really not much I can watch anymore with 3 kids under 12 and have them walk in the room especially the living room, even fricking commercials and what not are vulgar or inappropriate.
When I saw him in Bham there was what I thought a couple sitting next to me and it ended up being a mom about 45 and her son about 18. There’s not a lot of comics these days you’d see that.
The guys that opened for him also gave mostly clean humor. I would have had no issue going to a show with my parents.
ETA: I cuss like a sailor plenty so I’m not against it either. Its just a refreshing change

Happy to say that I saw him before he hit it big and before Covid took him off the road.
He’s uniquely funny

I stumbled across one of his Comedy Central clips years back and started following him. He is tremendous. His podcast, Nateland, is great.
Definitely watch his Netflix specials, starting with his episode on The Standups.
This is from SNL that he hosted: LINK

Nate and Brian Regan are probably my two favorite comics right now
Totally agree. Brian Regan has been my favorite for a long time and Nate is right up there now.

Sorry, I couldn't resist.

He’s on track to being one of the best comedians ever.
Not even close. I don't find him funny at all, like literally not at all. His clown / magician bit has nothing funny about it. I dont know what people see in him.

For those of you that don’t know, his weekly podcast “Nateland” is on YouTube. Dusty Slay, Aaron Weber and Brian Bates usually are there each week and they do bring in guests occasionally.
