There will be one million videos from SNAP recipients melting down in convenience stores.
The level of entitlement will be on full display.
There's a reason you're not supposed to feed the animals in wild parks. The same principle applies in humans yet we do it anyway.

I personally think allowing bottled water to be bought with SNAP is even more egregious than soft drinks.
yup, and the junkies are already gaming that system, on the taxpayers dime, of course.

Drug addicts in Oregon have come up with a scheme that sees them using their food stamps to buy cases of water which they then immediately empty out in order to obtain a 0.10 cents bottle deposit to then buy drugs with.
Video footage shot in a parking lot on Portland sees one group of people with shopping carts full of pallets of bottled water, only to have them empty the contents out on the ground.

I do not have an issue with this. It should be essential items only. WIC has way more restrictions than SNAP.
I would like to see generic food brands only.....

Not if you keep a highly regulated WIC that only allows for healthy staples

Just saw a woman with a woman in albertsons blowing a gasket over this, made a huge scene by wanting to be seen and heard. Cart was full of "cold drinks" and not to stereo type but I promise she was a FULL person past being obese.
