I know the models don't do anything with it but 92L could be sneaky if it can get convection firing consistently.

A look at the aftermath from one of the storms that moved slowly through New Mexico earlier. This was a bit North of Ruidoso where the Flash Flood Emergency (and two wildfires) is/are.

It didn't hurt. It probably won't put them out, and I think most of that rain missed the southern fire. If the flood/debris flow takes out roads it would hamper the ongoing work on the fire, too.

Im in west Texas for work and was watching the news a few hours ago. They said this was happening and also the strong winds from the storm that caused the flooding helped the fire were it didnt get much rain.

There are two fires, one north of Ruidoso and one to the south. The storm sat on the northern fire, so it would have helped some there. The southern fire didn't get any help from it, and the wind would have been a problem.
Then, there's the issue with the fresh fire scar and what was likely pretty significant debris flow off of it with the flooding.
