Nicotine pouches

On the rare occasion that I do drink I will keep them on hand which keeps me from smoking an actual cigarette.

I love ‘em. All the benefits of nicotine with no bad breath spitting, and no proof of cancer. Yet.

My favorite brand is probably Fre but they have limited flavors. CLEW makes some nice pouches too.

Used it to quit dip. Then I was doing a can or more of Zyn a day. Blood pressure was high, heartburn was horrible.

Finally quit all together in June. I still reach for a pouch after a meal of if I've been drinking. Way harder to quit than just regular dip.

Just order some ALP's, they are awesome.

Curious ... I ordered a few different flavors of ALP about a month ago. Flavors are very good, but they were all really hard and compacted when I got them. They do soften up after a few minutes ... just wondering if that maybe happened during shipping or if that is actually normal for that brand. If it's normal then probably won't buy them again. NYKD has been my go to since - they last a long time, most of the flavors are really good, and they don't hurt my mouth at all.

I quit a can-a-day copenhagen addiction cold turkey about a decade ago. Just thinking about it now makes my mouth water

Don't try zyn then unless you want to be hooked again. I quit a can a day cope habit in 2012. 2023 I got curious about zyn and tried a pouch a buddy had offered. Was immediately back in it. I know i can quit if I want to but I dont want to.

Did the Rogues for about a year ... definitely preferred flavors over Zyn but they just ate my mouth up. Still think their Spearmint is the best thing out there.

My doc said there is virtually no health risk for a person that exercises and lifts weights. He said he did t want to admit it but had to.
My dentist uses them and says as long as you move them around and don’t stay in one place, they are fine.

It’s weird, but the first time I used them, they did the same. However, after a week or so, the irritation stopped.

That's pretty dang funny.

I have recently started using the 3mg and it is successfully curbing my want to smoke. I still occasionally will buy a pack but my consumption has drastically reduced.

24mgs.

Would like more info on these please. I go through a can of Cope a day, but supplement with Zyn in situations where tobacco use isn't feasible. The 6 mgs barely take the edge off.

The high MG scandanavian brands can be difficult and not cost effective to get in the states. A good US brand with a 'high MG' is the 12MG Grizzly Nicotine Pouches, I have even seen some stores with the 15MG pouches in those. That 12-15MG range will be on par with what you would get from typical smokeless tobacco.

On! pouches helped me quit smoking 5-6 years ago. I started on the 8mg and have tapered down first to 4mg and now I'm on 2mg. They are great. Not unhealthy, very discrete, much cheaper than tobacco. I don't really see anything negative about them.

Haven’t found any luck here in the states, but if you’re traveling international thru the airport you may find them in the duty free shops. Like another poster said the cost might not be worth it to order online. Maybe purchasing in bulk could help. Otherwise you’d need to find a Scandinavian willing to part with theirs.

Nicotine good or bad for you?

Of course it is bad for you. It is better than smoking, but is still bad for you.
