Aren’t they actual Indians? I know they don’t look like traditional Indians, but this is cultural gumbo Haitian Indian French Spanish colonial area Nola right?

He will gain some as well, so it will even out.

Yes, but i don't think it is enough to impact him financially in a way where he'll have to come out and say, "i was a dumbass for tattling to NOLA.com about my son's school on an issue no one cares about".
He'll lose customers, but he'll gain customers also. not because of his SJW accolades, but because of his beer. That's what i meant by my comment.

Truth is, I’d bet vast majority of craft beer people who frequent his place and have met him have found him pleasant and beers enjoyable.
This. I've never met the man, but his beer is good. It wouldn't hurt if he'd invest in chairs and tables, and maybe run a mop or duster in the place. Place is pretty damn dirty.
But, i'm sure he's a nice guy, but i guess he fell victim to the "i must speak out" silliness that is going on. In the end, this article isn't a big news topic. I doubt he continues on this course of public outcry, but i could be wrong.

I kind of want to go have a beer wearing a Kehoe-France camp t-shirt, boots and a MAGA hat just to piss him off.

I just don’t get why what he said would bother people enough to not drink his beer. This has been blown WAY out of proportion IMO. Sure he may have been a bit of a pussy but my god it didn’t hurt anything. I am guessing this is just another one of those things where people just want to complain about others politics, even though what he said wasn’t even bad.

I think people are just tired of the whole victim culture. I understand people who refuse to give money to this guy because they don't want to promote this type of attitude. Personally, this little bout of dumbassery doesn't affect me, other than make me shake my head.

unless he pushes or incorporates his views within his business, I just don't see how giving him business is promoting this type of attitude

he's trying to publicly shame another business and you think this should be separated from his own business when he's seeking attention and trying to hurt another business due to some PR stunt that may or may not have something to do with his divorce?

And he's allowed to have his own personal feelings about it. And if someone came on facebook and said "this guy said this at his bar", people wouldn't give a shite. I think it's just the fact that he felt the need to go to the media in an effort to show how tolerant he is, which is irritating to most people.
Posted on 6/13/18 at 10:04 am to bigberg2000
He's publicly condemning a school for something he was offended by. He is trying to pressure them to change it because he is offended. No one else was offended by it. They've been using those names since I went there 25 years ago. Some people don't care for that bitch mentality, so they criticize him and his stance. You reap what you sew.
My guess is that he saw an opportunity for publicity, and capitalized. Maybe it'll turn out okay, maybe not

I'm saying his personal opinions have nothing to do with his own business unless he uses his business to push those opinions
