Other than that, I got some paper clips for my girlfriend’s office,
Pics?

Of the gf, but she can wear the paper clips and be in her office (if necessary) in them.

TIA

Total Wines is going up in that location. It was announced months ago.

This place? Total Wine & More

If so, that's so fricking awesome. Best liquor store I know. Love that place.

We have used similar stores when we were doing newsletters and trying to keep the postage to two oversized pages. While using their print facilites, one other customer was having notices printed on heavy paper of a wrasslin' match he was promoting (two counties away} and he was so pround that one of his boys had been a bouncer on Jerry Springer.

Also good for trying on office chairs for comfort. And for some drafting supplies compasses, etc.

That said, two of the three stores we used to use are now closed.

Why go there when I can have Staples deliver to me the next day? The couple times of year I need something from the store isnt enough to sustain that rent

What? Having a methadone clinic nearby doesn't attract upscale shoppers with plenty of disposable income?

My shocked face, this is it ->

Trying to think of something I would go into an Office Depot to buy vs buying online and having delivered.

I would like to sit and try out the office chairs before I bought one online

They're closing because they're tired of getting robbed, and a liquor store is replacing them.

They’re closing Office Depot to build total wine so the hobos can buy they’re liquor easier with the money they make at the corner

go to an Office Depot/Max once every couple of years for something random and I’m the only customer there every time. I predict they go the way of BlockBuster and Circuit City before 2030.

There are hardly ever many people in Office Depot on the few occasions that I go there. Its kind of depressing. Looks like I would imagine a Soviet era
shopping establishment in Eastern Europe would have been like.

Having said that, we have gotten a few pieces of nice home office furniture/desks there lately.

Not sure what could be stolen that’s worth anything, even the headphones are locked in on the shelf’s

I would assume it has more to do with nobody going to those stores unless the absolutely have to compared to loss prevention. I’ve been the only one in the store for years when I go to get ink in an emergency

If I am going in there, it is either because I am looking for something very specific that I need right away or I am looking for clearance crap.

Most stuff I could buy there, I could get just as easily from somewhere else or order online depending how long I want to wait on it.

If I am looking for a nice office chair, I may look there. If I want a desk planner of a specific size, I can find it there. But if I need tech, office paper, cheap pens or highlighters, I’m not going to spend significantly more for the same inventory that is everywhere else.

Glad to hear their closing but sucks it’s another empty building. That’s a weird location to get to over there. But yeah I hate Office Depot. Giant store full of nothing but overpriced shite. Their markup is ridiculous.

Yup. We buy all of our supplies online as well. Only in a pinch do we go there.
