What kind of shoes do you wear when casually walking around anytime that you aren’t at Disney?

How far does one walk in a day at Disney?
People here always act like they’re running an ultramarathon

Here is sleepwear for men whose wive's force them to go to Disney....
FWIW, I do not hate Disney and went several times when my kids were young. The time and finance that must now be invested no longer make sense to me when there are so many unique places to vacation for the same cost.
As for footwear, most folks feet hurt at Disney because most folks are lazy the other 51 weeks of the year and do not walk the several miles a Disney visit requires. And decent tennis shoes work.

Very few people on this board walk more than about 2000 steps a day, which is why we always get threads like this. If you're not an ogre, walking a few miles over the course of the day is nothing and footwear isn't something you have to spend time thinking about

As a Disney pro here's what I can tell you.
On Magic Kingdom day, you take the tram over to the Grand Floridian and you park your arse on the public balcony and you drink all day.
On Epcot day you walk to Canada, get a moose head and some popcorn, then you sit on your arse somewhere. Meander over to Germany to finish yourself off.
Hollywood Studios, just go behind the Sci Fi cafe and park your arse under the umbrellas by the tap bar/pretzel shop.
At Animal Kingdom, there are three bar stools behind the check in desk at Yak and Yeti. Sit there.
This all assumes the kids are old enough to do their own thing. Otherwise, you'll need the shoes.

Has there ever been anything the OT hates/loves more than Disney? Everyone hates the wokeness, but everyone seems to spend a fortune to support it.

Adidas UltraBoost. Only thing that helped me.

That way you'll fit in better with the rest of the crowd there.

We went to Disneyland for a couple of days in April. On Sunday, I had 33,663 steps, and on Monday, I had 27,536. Disney World is larger, so we have more steps.

You have kids?
Then you know what it’s like having a hyper 3 year old son.

^This. Hey Dudes are comfortable if you aren't doing a lot of walking/standing. Which you will be doing at Disney. Do not bring Hey Dudes or you will be miserable and your feet will hurt the whole time. If you are a heavy guy (200lb+) then the same goes for on clouds. They are great for the lightweight folks but do not hold up well for bigger guys. Other than that, any decent pair of tennis shoes should be fine.
