Your wife texted that to you from her burner phone.

I feel like this exact same scenario was posted on here a few weeks ago. Are we recycling material now?

Wife, absolutely. Girlfriend, not so much.

If you reconnect with someone you dated from, say, ages 16-24 it can be dangerous to see them again later on. Our brains are not fully developed at that age and the impression the relationship leaves is much stronger than dating someone at 30 and breaking up. So in a way, it is like seeing a long lost sibling. We tend to look at them as not just a former GF/BF but a member of the family; they are someone who played an integral part in our youth and made us who we are. And that can be a powerful draw.
If you're happily married, I wouldn't do it. Though I understand how you might want to know what she has been up to. Just ask the wife first, and just make it a phone call. And do it in front of her.

First of all I wouldn’t tell the wife a damn thing. Are y’all crazy?
If she finds out then you discuss it.
Going get coffee or whatever depends on if you’re in the same town where you live or not. Also, if others there know you and your wife. If so, I would thank her for the offer but decline.
Women will rat you out (but a woman will never usually rat another woman out)....and some of your male friends especially if they would like to get in your wife’s pants.

Yes, if you are going go coffee. Not sure how this is even a question.

If you just bump in to her and chat you have a leg to stand on with why you didn't say anything, it wasn't a big deal. if you meet up for coffee you better ask the SO if she minds. If she trusts you she won't mind. Not saying anything about it is kind of shady IMO.

The fact that you didnt say NO says it all. You’re gonna wind up divorced sooner or later.

Depends where you fall on the trashy spectrum

My gf’s (no pics) bff, who is married, just randomly met up with her HS sweetheart for drinks while he was in town and ended up fricking the guy. Nothing good can come of it. With that being said, do it.
