It's called Astral Projecting, and you can actually manually do it. The CIA released documents and a step by step instructions on how to do it. It's a rabbit hole, and I'll probably get downvoted, but it'll give you an idea of what we truly are.

Astral projection is very difficult to do, at least for me.

I did when I was younger. It was a rare form of sleep paralysis. I would float above myself and get on shelves/cabinets/etc and watch myself. After a while I would jerk awake sweating. It wasn't ever scary until I woke up. And no, I wasn't fat.

I remember one scary one while I was driving in the middle of the day in broad daylight. I was on a rural highway not far from my parents’ home, so a road I was extremely familiar with.
I suddenly realized that I was floating near the treetops looking down at my car driving down the road. I was worried because I suddenly thought, “there’s a big curve coming up. If I’m up here, who’s going to turn the steering wheel to avoid crashing?” Suddenly, I was back in the drivers seat just in time to make the turn safely.
A couple minutes later, after pulling into my parents’ driveway, I put the car in park, turned off the ignition, and just sat there for a moment freaking out over what the f$&k just happened.

Good to see others know about this. I've never done it but got close several times but kinda got scared and it slipped away. But basically you want to fall asleep but being aware of it all mentally at the same time. You want to have no thoughts and just focus on the vibrations you'll feel in your body. It gets intense and I usually lose focus.
This kinda stuff has always fascinated me, ever since I was a kid. As I had a dream come true as a little kid, probably 8 to 10 years old. And I've had more dreams come true ever sense, though very rarely. They are always little insignificant things, but they still happen. This is the deja Vu people keep talking about, though most misuse the wording.
I think the dream land, or astral, can show us that there is more to this world than what meets the eye.

My first nut in a vagina. It was a life changing experience.

I think a lot of that was in hopes of finding success with "remote viewing". It included some sensory deprivation as well as binaural tones intended to synchronize or desynchronize the left and right hemispheres of the brain. If I recall correctly, The Monroe Institute in Virginia continues to offer sessions aimed at teaching people how to enter into astral projection or OOBEs.
Robert McMoneagle authored a few books on the subject of remote viewing and OOBEs. He worked with CIA during the 70s and 80s when this was something they were pursuing, and had close ties to The Monroe Institute. KGB was also heavily involved in similar experimentation around the same time.

No but sometimes I have really weird Deja vu and then all of sudden I can’t remember what I just did

Maybe somewhat related and kind of weird, but I categorize this as spiritual.
My wife and I started trying to get pregnant earlier this year. Pulled the goalie and all that.
During one of our encounters, as I climaxed, I felt something that I had never felt before.
Turns out a few weeks later she was pregnant and the dates work out to it being from that particular encounter.
Convinced I felt the life force leave me and enter my wife.

I "floated" out of my parents' house when I was a kid

Anyone on here ever had an out of body experience?
Hallucinogenic drug induced experiences don’t count.
Good friend of mine says he woke up one night in bed and he was floating above the bed looking down at himself and his wife. He said it lasted a couple of seconds and then it was like his spirit returned to his body.
Curious if other people have had similar experiences
No, but I once had a coworker who told us all about how the aliens visited him and he levitated. He said after that he was much smarter and was able to go back to school and get his masters. He didn't last very long at that job.

Yep. Also regularly have dreams that my "awake" brain enters the situations and tells me that it's not real and that it's just a dream... then I wake up. Happens about once or twice a month. Crazy arse dream... then I tell my dream self that it's not real and it's only a dream. Weird

As others have mentioned while sleeping I've entered into what I consider an altered state of consciousness that is like a combination of lucid dreaming and sleep paralysis where it feels like I'm outside of my body and observing the environment around me. It starts with being aware Im asleep and cant move then moves to the strangest part . I feel these vibrations that I can control with my thoughts when I enter this state. It like revving an engine and once I hit a certain "rpm" it feels like I break loose from my body. Then at some point I get slammed back in. I ve experienced this all my life a few times year. I dont really believe that anything mystical or supernatural is occurring. Just a glitch in the brain but who knows. Its a trippy experience non the less.
Also I've experience the presence of something or someone watching me during the sleep paralysis phase that sometimes scares me shitless and I wake up before entering the out of body phase. One time it felt as if this presence was suffocating me. Its commonly referred to as "old hag syndrome."

Amen.
Spiritual illness is destroying this world. The modern life is all about the flesh not living the Spirit of Jesus in Love, Joy and Peace Galatians 5:13-26
Live the Spirit and be grateful everyday with your eyes open. "God's moments" will eventually come into your life. Disciples of Jesus look at and do things differently in their relationship with Jesus and the world than a vast majority of people on this earth.

Amen brother. What is sown is corruptible (flesh). But what is raised is incorruptible (spirit). We need to be ready to shed our earthly garments and and put on garments of light, because Jesus will come like a thief in the night, and bam we will be transformed.
Peace

Out of body experiences
My friend was
I couldn't move & just like that, I was in the trusses of the detached garage looking down on both of us/then back in body trying to catch my breath.
Being out of body for a few seconds was completely peaceful & quiet.
