I jumped ITT specifically to bitch about truck lights such as yours. I'm sure they are great when you're the one using them and you get all of the visibility that comes with them.

People flash you because your lights hurt their eyes and/or felt as a safety hazard.by others on the road. Doesn’t matter one bit that they are not your “brights”. Amazed people don’t understand that.

Half of cars on the road are large trucks and almost all now have LEDs. Old people, these aren’t brights. Are they too bright? Ya, but they are everywhere and the aren’t the brights.

Are people just not being taught proper driving nowadays? I hate these people almost as much as cyclists.

If you are one of these people, do you just dgaf? Or are you retarded?

Altimas too lazy/ cheap to replace burned out low.beam bulbs. Just drive with high beams on.

Exactly this.

Truck/car both dim automatically, if the brights are on.

Much worse is the halfwits with lifted/squatted trucks

I did when I put new headlight assemblies on an older car. Was perfect out the box but you never know.

feel like OP is one of those drivers that confuses the new headlights with brights.

I pretty commonly get flashed in my truck when my brights are off. sorry the headlights are bright but they arent the brights

Then extra frick you! Those are a hazard. Lost count of times I've been driving down 49 and am literally seeing spots cause some dick in a truck has those in my rear view.

I drive early mornings when it’s dark…still crazy to me when I see brights coming my way …80% don’t shut theirs off. Even after multiple flashes.

Most are not on hi beams. All these new cars with leds are blinding people. It doesn’t help that new Chevy and Ford trucks have their lights mounted so high on the fender that the shine directly in most people’s eyes that are driving cars. They seem to be the worst offenders

I have digital smart lights in my S-Class, They were deactivated from
factory for the USA. I had them recoded a they are far superior to any Auto high beam system. The lights act just like projectors and can dim by pixel. Not only does my lights show turn by turn images but they will autodim and move based on the on coming car and only dim the light shining at the car. They are amazing and hope all cars have them in the future

I hate them.

I have an eye stigma so I avoid the night time as much as possible and the brights really mess with my vision to the point I've had to pull over and let them pass by.

I wish there was a sensor on vehicles that would determine when they are needed. Or at least turn off when it picks up head lights.

The rear view brights on people are worse than people coming head on. I mean what more could possibly illuminate with brights on that you can’t see with regular if you are literally driving right behind me as in a couple car lengths at most

Several of the headlights now days appear to be on bright when they are not...Also there are more SUV's and pickups on the road and their lights are higher and hit you right on eye level. I've flashed at several oncoming vehicles that when they hit their high beams really blind me...Lol

Most of the LED lights that yall are complaining about are likely not aimed properly.

I like my truck leveled like any other baw out there. However, i also take the time to adjust my headlights after changing the factory stance. Most do not.

When I get the “flash” , I end the question and give them high beams briefly. End of discussion.

theres a lot of people that just leave their brights on. It's absolutely annoying but my lights are brighter and I hit them with the high beams in return.
I got a ticket for that once…. Turns out the a-hole was the Alabama State Highway Patrol.

I had just started driving and my Dad in the passenger seat so he saw what was going on. So he quipped on the way home, I hope you just learned something, the Cop is always in the right no matter how wrong.

My lights don’t work at all so I have a light bar on the front of my squatted 03 Duramax.

I too drive early in the morning and have the same problem. The new bright arse dims need to be outlawed! and out here in Denham I've noticed school busses have their brights on, seems more dangerous to drive a school bus like that! I cant even tell it's a bus until I pass it.

There are also people that have regular beams that are LEDS and are just as bright as “brights” - a lot of this is factory now and it’s insanely dangerous. No headlights should be white; they should all be yellowish/off white evenif LEDs

Happens to me with my new vehicle. I feel terrible because people keep flashing me thinking I am ignoring them, but there is nothing I can do.

How about you check the “aim” on them? Could be off.
